The main difference between the Jacuzzi pump is the flanged connection between the pump and tank. This flange is located between the second and third impellers and has two parts. The top part carries water from the second impeller into the tank. The lower part carries water from the tank to the third impeller. This arrangement lets air, gas,or sand to separate from incoming water and accumulates in the tank. No air or gas reaches the upper stages of the pump so this pump will always run and rarely loose prime. This is critcal for wells in Lambton County that contain sulphur and sediment.
